Nowadays, majority of people drink coffee. If you fall under that category an espresso machine is a must have. The reason for this is because they make the best tasting coffee available.

Even if you don’t drink espresso, an espresso and machine makes much better tasting coffee. You can also get creative and try new drinks that you otherwise might not. You can also save a lot of money by owning your own espresso machine.

Most coffee lovers stop by a coffee shop in the morning on their way to work. They do this because the coffee tastes better. The reason for this is because the water they use is a higher temperature allowing it to make the most from the coffee. With an espresso machine you can achieve this in your own home.

If you go to a coffee shop everyday and spend $3 a cup you will end up spending over $1,000 a year on coffee. By making your own coffee you only spend about $0.50 a cup. That huge savings makes a big difference when financial times are hard.

The best part of owning your own espresso and machine is that you no longer have to leave the house early so that you can stop at the coffee shop. You won’t have to wait in long lines or spend so much money on your coffee. All the while you will still be drinking incredible tasting coffee.

You can also use an espresso machine as a great way to entertain. Your friends will love coming over for great tasting coffee, espresso, cappuccino, or more. You will be able to take pride in the fact that you make great coffee.

Espresso is one of the most popular coffee beverages today. But, it is also one of the most complicated. It has to have the right froth, the right creaminess and the right smoothness of the brewed coffee for it to be considered a success.

This Italian coffee maker has been in existence since the early 1900. With its steam wand, you can also use this machine to brew beverages such as cappuccino and latte.

But how does it really work? That depends on what exactly you are using. There are simple types of brewers and then there are the automatic and programmable pump-driven espresso brewers. Here is how the latter works:

Step 1: Place water in its water reservoir. Follow the necessary measurements for the water. Plug the machine and then switch it on. Wait for the machine to finish heating up the water. There should be a light indicator there to tell you that water has already simmered.

Step 2: Once the water is heated at to the right temperature, you can now place your favourite espresso grounds in its coffee basket. Make sure compress it. Next place the filter. Use what they call a “porta-filter” and install it by employing a twisting motion into the machine. Make sure that you put a small cup underneath the spouts.

Step 3: Check the valve and turn it to the direction stated in the manual. This will then start the pump device to incorporate pressure into water and then push this water into the ground coffee.

Step 4: When this has already finishes, or the espresso ground brewing process has finished, immediately put the switch back to the mid position. This beverage is not complete without froth and steam.

Step 5: If you want some steamed milk, place cold milk beneath the steam wand. Check out the manual to find the steam wand. Make sure that the valve is directed in the same steam position. The machine will then boil the water and then help process steam from the nozzle. This process will heat the milk and then it will produce a creamy froth.

Despite the additional processes in making this beverage, its versatility is one of its attractions. When you look for this machine, make sure that it does the steps mentioned above perfectly all the time. There are a myriad of Espresso makers out there but you have to be vigilant in choosing only the best one.

Nearly all coffee connoisseurs will agree that the best way to ensure that you get a great cup of coffee each time is to use an espresso coffee grinder. Certainly when it comes to making a great cup of espresso coffee the only way to ensure that you get the best and most intense flavor from the beans you are using is to use one of the many different types of espresso coffee grinders prior to you making it.

Using a grinder helps to prevent the loss of some of the oil that provides the coffee with their flavor. If you were to drink ground coffee that has been open for sometime the intense flavor would be lost as the grounds have begun to the lose the oil. But using an espresso coffee grinder prevents this from happening.

Today there are two different types of coffee grinders a person can purchase which come with either burr or steel blades. Although the burr grinders are more expensive, the resulting cup of coffee you get from using these is much better than those which have steel blades.

The other reason why you should choose a burr grinder over a steel bladed one is that during the grinding process less heat is produced which results in the grounds being more flavorsome. Also these types of grinders allow a person to decide just how fine or coarse they want their coffee grounds to be. In fact there are some espresso coffee machines which are ideally suited for ensuring that you can make fantastic cups of espresso coffee each time you use them.

However the steel bladed ones often contain an electric motor and the way you get the right kind of fineness to your coffee grounds will depend on just how long you leave the machine on for during the grinding process. Unfortunately with this particular type of machine more heat is produced during the grinding process and so the actual grounds once produced have lost a lot of their flavor and aroma. Because this particular type of coffee grinder is much less expensive then this is why you will most often finding them being used in homes.

So if you are someone who wants to ensure that when it comes to getting the most flavor and aroma out of their coffee grounds, then they should really be looking at purchasing a burr grinder. This is certainly the most suitable type of all the espresso coffee grinders a person can purchase today.

Espresso is not only delicious, but it can often be expensive if you are in line at Starbucks every day! To cut back on your overhead and learn a new skill, why not tap into your inner barista and learn how to make espresso at home? To do that, you need to discover how to purchase a quality home espresso machine to get value from your investment.

Espresso machines have a number of different features and prices, so it may seem difficult to know where to begin. However, when you do some simple math, it is quite worthwhile. Your average espresso drink at a commercial coffee house can cost around four dollars, and when you multiply that by five visits a week in your workweek at 52 weeks per year, you have a rough estimate of over $1000! With that money alone, you have the cash to buy a state of the art, quality home espresso machine, and you will be saving even more money in the long run when you do.

When you understand the math behind your motivation, you will be surprised at how much you can get from your espresso machine for $1000. The first thing to consider in purchasing a home espresso machine is what type of espresso beverages you enjoy. If you are someone who enjoys a regular shot of espresso versus a more elaborate cappuccino, then you may want to consider a different machine. If you are looking for impeccable quality in the taste of your espresso, then a semi-automatic or manual machine may be a better choice because it gives you more control over the extraction and brew process. On the flipside, if you are someone looking for convenience and beverages that are more similar to what Starbucks would provide, then you may want to consider a super automatic espresso machine that will allow you to create your own customized drink at the touch of a button. And talk about convenient! Super automatic espresso machines will program your favorite drink so that you can make it again and again with one button.

Next, you will want to consider the price of the machine that you are interested in. This directly depends upon your budget and the drinks that you would like to make. You can spend around $1000 on many of the popular brands, like Saeco or Capresso, and there are also less expensive models available for home use.

Last of all, consider what features you would like with your machine. Again, if you are looking for convenience, then you may want a machine that will brew and steam the milk for you to create an entire beverage within your cup. If you are looking for more quality in the extraction of your espresso, then you may want to find a machine with a double boiler so that it will have enough power to brew a quality shot.

Regardless of your choice, think of the money that you are going to save and the enjoyment you will have in brewing your own espresso at home!

Another popular accessory for coffee is commercial coffee makers! For a great selection, check out Mark Ramos’ website, The Coffee Bump.
